"I’m giving Ideal Baby & Kids 4 stars because, despite a few drawbacks, I truly appreciate what this store offers—especially as a mom of twins. Let’s start with the not-so-great: Parking is a pain, and the store is located in a sketchy area tucked inside an older building that smells a bit like moisture when you walk in. They also don’t let you see items being scanned at the register (old machines), which feels outdated—I had to double-check my receipt afterward to make sure prices were correct. Plus, they’re still showing as permanently closed on Google, which is not true and really needs to be fixed because it’s misleading. That said, I found everything I needed for my twins here, inventory is adorable and unique— and the ladies working were incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. It’s rare to get that level of personal attention these days. I just wish their online store reflected what’s actually in stock at the physical location—it would make shopping so much easier and help them stay competitive. This place feels like one of the last of its kind, and that makes me sad. I hope they modernize a bit and stick around, because stores like this are a gem for parents."
